Community Bible Chapel

Vernon Sivage has been on staff at Community Bible Chapel since July 2022. He holds a Bachelors of Science from Texas Tech University, a Masters of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary, and a Doctorate of Ministries from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is married to Sandi and they have two children. Vernon and Sandi moved to Pleasanton in 2016 after serving for 37 years as Baptist missionaries in Rwanda and Uganda, Africa.

Dan has been married to Teresa for 35 years. They have 3 children and 3 grandchildren. Dan is the Executive Director of Christians Assistant Ministry in Poteet. He leads a Men's Bible Study and is very active in CBC and the community. He enjoys being with family and taking care of their ranch. 

Timothy Joseph Ruppel was born in San Antonio, Texas. In 1976, by way of a friend, he came to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. 
After graduating from high school, he received a Bachelor of Science degree from Stephen F. Austin State University. In the early 1990s he became a student once again, receiving an Advanced Studies Program degree & a few years later a Masters in Biblical Studies from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago.
Since 2001 he has been a Texas public school teacher, with certifications in Biology, Science & Generic Special Education, at the secondary level. He retired this vocation four years ago.
Along his life's journey he has been privileged to teach both youth & adult Sunday school classes, as well as Bible studies. Teaching God's word is no doubt a passion of his.
God has blessed him with 3 short term mission trips: one to Romania in 1988 & two to Ukraine in 1995 & 2004.
He looks forward to continuing in His service as long as God tarries & into eternity.

Joel has been married for 17 years to Debbie. They have 4 children & 9 grandchildren. He has worked in agriculture his entire adult life. He is active in the community, working closely with Safer Path Family Violence Shelter. In his spare time he enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing & spending time with family.

Sara is married to Camy Moore and has 3 daughters. She grew up here in Pleasanton and has been a long time member of Community Bible Chapel. Sara has a degree in child and youth development, and Biblical counseling. She has been working in Children's ministry since 1997. She served with Child Evangelism Fellowship and worked with troubled youth in Indianapolis, Indiana. 

Teresa and Dan have been married for 35 years. They have 3 children and 3 grandchildren. Teresa loves being with her family, working at Community Bible Chapel, serving the Lord and working with Dan on their ranch. Her hobbies include reading and doing almost anything outside.
