Below is our Statement of Faith as taken from our church's constitution [Scripture references added]. It summarizes the core beliefs to which we hold regarding Scripture, God, humanity, & salvation.
- We believe in the inspiration and infallibility of the Bible: that every word and every part is inspired by God, that it is inerrant in the original writings, and of supreme and final authority in faith and life.
2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:20-21; 3:15-16, Luke 24:27
- We believe in the Triune God, revealed to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, one God eternally existing in three persons.
Gen 1:26, Deut 6:4, Matt 3:16-17; 28:18-19
- We believe in Jesus Christ, begotten of the Holy Spirit, and born of the virgin Mary, true God and true man, inseparably joined in one person, forever.
Luke 1:34-35, John 1:1-2; 14; 20:28
- We believe in the person of the Holy Spirit, who permanently indwells all true believers and is the source and power of all acceptable worship and service.
John 14:26; 16:13-15, Rom 8:26-27, 1 Cor 3:16, Eph 1:13-14
- We believe in the existence of Satan as a personal being.
Job 1:6-12, Isa 14:12-20, Ezek 28:12-19, Eph 2:2; 6:12, 1 Pet 5:8
- We believe in the total depravity of man, who by nature and choice is both sinful and lost and has thereby incurred for himself not only physical death but spiritual death, which is separation from God.
Gen 3:17-19, Psa 14:1-3; 51:5, Jer 17:9, Mark 7:20-23, Rom 1:24-32; 3:10-19; 5:12; 6:23, Eph 2:1-3
- We believe in the future life, bodily resurrection, and eternal judgment of all men, and in the existence of a literal heaven and hell.
Rom 8:18-23, Phil 3:20-21, 1 John 3:2, Rev 20:11-15, Rev 21, Matt 18:8-9; 25:46, Luke 16:19-26
- We believe in the substitutionary and sacrificial death of Christ, that He died for our sins and that all who believe in Him are justified on the grounds of His shed blood.
Isa 53, Matt 27, Titus 2:5-6, 1 Pet 1:18-19, Heb 9:14; 22, 1 John 1:7
- We believe in the bodily resurrection of Christ, His ascension into heaven, and His present work there for us as Advocate and High Priest.
Matt 28, Luke 24, Acts 1:10; 2:32-36, 1 Cor 15, Heb 1:1-3, 1 John 2:1-2, 1 Tim 2:5
- We believe in salvation by grace through faith, and that all who receive by faith the Lord Jesus Christ as personal Savior are born again of the Holy Spirit and thereby become children of God.
Eph 2:8-10, John 1:12; 3:3-6, Eph 1:5-8, Rom 8:14-17, Rom 5-2
- We believe in the eternal security of the believer, that all born-again believers, once saved, shall be kept forever.
Rom 5:9-10; 8:28-39, John 10:27-29, Acts 20:32, Eph 1:13-14, Phil 1:6, Heb 7:23-28
- We believe in the priesthood of all believers, that Christ is our Great High Priest, and through Him every child of God has direct access to the Father’s presence without the need of a human priest.
Heb 4:14-16; 6:19-20; 7:23-28, John 16:26-27, James 1:5-6, 1 Pet 2:9-10; 2:4-5, Rev 1:6; 5:10

- We believe in the ordinances of Believer’s Baptism and the Lord’s Supper. We practice baptism by immersion.
