v12Now when I came to the region of Troas for the gospel of Christ, and then a door of opportunity having been opened to me by the Lord,

v13I found no rest in my spirit since I did not find my brother Titus; on the contrary, having told them good-bye, I traveled into Macedonia.

v14Yet thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and makes known through us the aroma of knowledge about him everywhere we go.

v15For we are a fragrance of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are being destroyed.

v16To some we are a stench arising from death and leading to death, to others an aroma arising from life and leading to life. And who is qualified for this role?!

v17For we are not like so many, hucksters who peddle the Word of God to make money; rather, we speak with integrity, indeed, as those sent by God, living before God, in Christ.
