2 Corinthians 4:7-15

v7But we have this treasure in jars of clay, in order that this
extraordinary power might be seen for what it is, power that comes from God and not from us.

v8In every way we are being afflicted but not restricted, baffled but not to the point of despair,

v9abused but not abandoned, knocked down but not terminated;

v10we are always carrying around the dying of Jesus in our ⌜body⌝, in order that also the life of Jesus might be made known through the medium of our body.

v11For we who are alive are constantly being handed over to death because of Jesus, in order that also the life of Jesus might be made known by means of our mortal flesh.

v12Therefore death is at work in us, but life in you.

v13But since we have the same spirit of trust in accordance with what has been written, “I trusted, therefore I spoke,” we also trust, therefore we also speak,

v14knowing that the one who raised ⌜Jesus⌝ also will raise us with Jesus and present us with you.

v15For all things are for your sake, in order that when the grace has spread dynamically through many people, it might cause thanksgiving to overflow to God’s glory.
