Proverbs 24:3-12
v3 By wisdom a household is built,
and by understanding it is established,
v4 and by knowledge its rooms are filled with
all kinds of precious and pleasant wealth.
v5 A wise person prevails by might;
a person of knowledge musters strength.
v6 Surely by guidance you must wage war;
victory is won through many counselors.
v7 Wisdom is too high for fools;
in the gate they must not open their mouths.
v8 As for those who plan to do evil, they will be named “Schemer.”
v9 The schemes that come from folly are sin,
and an abomination to humanity is a mocker.
v10 If you show yourself lax in the time of crisis,
your strength is meager.
v11 Deliver those being taken to death,
even hold back those swaying and being led to slaughter.
v12 If you say, “We knew nothing about this,”
does not even he who weighs motives discern [the truth]?
As for him who protects your life, does he not know,
and will he not repay people according to their conduct?
