Psalms 110
By David. A psalm
V1An oracle of I AM to my lord: “’Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.’
v2I AM will extend your mighty scepter from Zion. ‘Rule in the midst of your enemies!’
v3Your troops offer themselves freely on the day of your strength. Arrayed in holy splendor, from the womb of the dawn, the dew of your youth comes to you.
v4I AM swears and will not change his mind: ‘You are a priest forever, like Melchizedek.’
v5The Lord is at your right hand; he will crush kings on the day of his anger.
v6You will judge the nations, you will fill the valley with corpses, and smash the heads that are over the whole earth.
v7From the wadi beside the way you will drink; therefore you will life up your head.”
