Corinthians 11:5-15

I do not consider myself to be the least bit inferior to these “superapostles!”
Even if I am an “amateur” in public speaking, I certainly am not an amateur when it comes to knowledge; indeed, this has been clear to you in every way, on all occasions.
Or did I commit a sin by humbling myself, by preaching God’s gospel to you free of charge, so that your position might be enhanced?
requisitioned the resources of other churches by receiving support from them, so that I could serve you!
And when I was with you and needed something, I did not burden anyone, for the brothers arriving from Macedonia provided whatever I needed. In every way I kept myself from being a burden to you, and I will keep doing so.
As surely as Christ’s truth is in me, this particular boast of mine, as far as I am concerned, will not be silenced in the regions of Achaia.
Why? Because I don’t love you? God knows I do!!
And what I am doing I will keep on doing in order to eliminate the opportunity of those who want a chance to be considered our equals in the things about which they boast.
For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers disguising themselves as apostles of Christ.
And no wonder! For Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.
Therefore, it is no great surprise that his servants also masquerade as ministers of righteousness. But their fate will be in accordance with their actions.
