Proverbs 30:1-6
v1 The sayings of Agur son of Jakeh. An oracle.
The inspired utterance of the man to Ithiel:
“I am weary, O God, but I can prevail.
v2 Surely I am too stupid to be a man; indeed,
I do not have the understanding of a human being.
v3 Indeed, I have not learned wisdom,
but I want to experience the knowledge of the Holy One.
v4 Who has ever ascended to heaven and come down?
Who has ever gathered up the wind in his fists?
Who has ever wrapped up the waters in his robe?
Who has established all the ends of the earth?
What is his name? And what is his son’s name?
Surely you know!
v5 Every word of God is purified;
he is a shield to those who take refuge in him.
v6 Do not add to his word,
lest he convict you and you be proved a liar.
