2 Corinthians 11:1-4
1 I wish you would bear with me in a little bit of foolishness; yes, do bear with me!
2 For I am jealous about you with a jealousy from God, since I promised you in marriage to one husband, to present you as a pure virgin to Christ.
3 But I am afraid that just as the snake deceived Eve by his chicanery, your thought processes might be ruined, steered away from a sincere, pure devotion to Christ.
4 As a matter of fact, if an interloper preaches another Jesus than the Jesus we preached, or if you receive a different spirit than the Spirit you received, or a different gospel than the one you espoused, you bear with it splendidly!
